ABSTRACT

Objective:To explore the mediating effect of self-nursing ability between living condition and anxiety in the patients with peptic ulcer caused by helicobacter pylori. Methods:By using questionnaire survey method,300 patients with a peptic ulcer caused by helicobacter pylori were assessed with the exercise of self-care agency (ESCA),Self-rated Health Measurement Scale (SRHMS) and Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS).The result was compared with that of 300 healthy crowd whose general condition was well-matched.The data were processed and analyzed by using SPSS13.0 and AMOS7.0.Results:The total scores of the ESCA,SRHMS and SAS were (101 ± 13),(299 ±35),(56 ±8) respectively. The result of the correlation analysis showed there were varying degree correlation among the disease self-nursing ability,self-rated Health, and anxiety (Ps < 0.01).Bootstrap test showed the size of the mediating effect of self-test health to anxiety was 0.17,the 95% confidence intervals was 0.11-0.26,and the ratio of the mediating effect to the total effect was 0.44.Contusion:It suggests that self-nursing ability may have much strong mediating role between health condition and anxiety.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the predictive factors of short-term poor outcome in patients with cerebral venous sinus thrombosis (CVST).Methods The clinical data of 42 consecutive inpatients with CVST were analyzed retrospectively. The clinical outcomes were assessed with the modified Rankin scale (mRS) at discharge. The patients were divided into either a good outcome group (mRS 0 to 2) or a poor outcome group (mRS 3 to 6).The related factors, such as demographic, etiology, and clinical features were compared between the two groups,Multivariate logistic regression analysis was used to determine the independent predictive factors for short-term poor outcome in patients with CVST.Results A total of 42 patients with CVST were enrolled,29 of them (69.05%) had good outcome and 13 (30.95%) had poor outcome. The proportions of central nervous system infections (20.69% vs.61.54% ; x2 =6.740,P =0.009),cancer (6.90% vs.38.46% ;x2 =6.439,P =0.011),pregnancy,postpartum,oral contraceptives or hormone replacement therapy (6.90% vs.38.46% ; x2 =6.439,P =0.011),and high homocysteine hyperlipidemia (27.59% vs.76.92% ;x2 =8.922,P =0.003),as well as the baseline D-dimer levels (730 ± 240 ng/ml vs.1 060 ± 250 ng/ml; t =4.485,P =0.000) in patients of the good outcome group were significantly lower than those of the poor outcome group. There was significant difference in treatment modalities (x2 =11.274,P =0.004) with the poor outcome group. The proportions of patients in anticoagulants, thrombolysis and anticoagulants + thrombolysis were 13.79%,24.14%,and 62.07%,respectively,in the good outcome group, while those were 61.54%,23.08%,and 15.39%,respectively,in the poor outcome group.Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that the baseline D-dimer level >990 ng/mL was an independent predictive factor for short-term poor outcome in patients with CVST (odds ratio [OR] 1.006,95% confidence interval [CI] 1.002-1.011; P=0.005).Anticoagulants + thrombolytic therapy was an independent protective factor for short-term poor outcome in patients with CVST (OR 0.027,95% CI 0.002-0.447; P=0.033).The ROC curve analysis showed that when the cutoff value of the baseline D-dimer was 990 ng/ml,the sensitivity and specificity of predicting short-term poor outcome of CVST were 76.9% and 86.2% respectively. Conclusions The level of baseline D-dimer >990 ng/ml is an independent predictive factor for short-term poor outcomes in patients with CVST.The effect of anticoagulants in combination with thrombolytic therapy is best in patients with CVST.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE:To analyze the general features of adverse drug reactions(ADRs)caused by hepatitis B vaccine.METHODS:72national case reports of ADRs induced by hepatitis B vaccine in recent10years were classified and analyzed statistically.RESULTS:The affected patients ranged in age from1year to 40 years, with more males than females; Most ADRs occurred with in 30 minutes after the medication; The ADRs were characterized by allergies in clinic, even allergic shock.CONCLUSIONS:It is important to manage the ADRs caused by hepatitis B vaccine for the safety of medication.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the bioavailability of two nimesulide preparations.METHODS:A total of 20 healthy male volunteers were enrolled in a randomized crossover study in which the subjects were randomly assigned to receive single dose of 200 mg nimesulide orally disintegrating tablets(test)or nimesulide tablets(reference). The plasma concentrations of nimesulide were determined by RP-HPLC,and the pharmacokinetic parameters and bioavailability were calculated with DAS program.RESULTS:The main pharmacokinetic parameters of nimesulide test and reference preparations were as follow:AUC0~24:(54.67?18.25)vs.(56.15?15.54)?g?h?mL-1;AUC0~∞:(56.38?18.03)vs.(57.63?15.26)?g?h?mL-1;Cmax:(7.61?2.72)vs.(7.50?2.19)?g?mL-1;tmax:(3.83?1.39)and(3.80?1.28)h.The relative bioavailability of nimesulide or-ally disintegrating tablets as against nimesulide tablet was(98.7?22.9)%.CONCLUSION:Nimesulide test and reference preparations were bioequivalent.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE:To study the compatible stability of puerarin injection with 10 commonly-used drugs.METHODS:The changes in appearance,pH,particulate and puerarin content after mixing with 10 drugs were observed and assayed.RESU_LTS & CONCLUSION:Puerarin injection mixing with adenosine triphosphate, coenzyme A and ribavirin showed significant change in pH,which indicats that they are incompatable each other, however, when puerarin injection was mixed with vitamin B6,potassium chloride, etamsylate, cimetidine, gentamycin, amikacin and erythromycin,no significant changes in pH,particulate and puerarin content were found, which indicates their compatibility.
